01WHO WE ARE

ASTROVE is the consumer brand of Frost Bites Foods for the Indian market.

02INFORMATION YOU GIVE US

We collect information you choose to provide, which may include:

• name
• email address
• phone number
• delivery and billing information when ordering
• order and customer-support information
• information submitted through the Trade Desk
• information submitted through a First Harvest request
• messages and enquiries you send us
• information you voluntarily supply with a complaint or damage claim

The First Harvest form submits the email address you enter directly to ASTROVE when you press the button.

Where an ASTROVE form instead opens your email application, the information you entered is not transmitted to ASTROVE through that form until you choose to send the email. The Trade Desk form currently works this way.

03INFORMATION GENERATED BY THE SITE

The site is served as static files from our own web server. When your browser requests a page, our server necessarily receives ordinary technical information required to deliver it, which may include:

• IP address
• browser and device information
• requested page or file, and the time of the request

The current site does not load analytics software, advertising pixels or third-party behavioural trackers, and does not build a browsing profile about you.

04HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use information to:

• process and fulfil orders
• communicate with you about orders
• provide customer service
• respond to Trade enquiries
• respond to First Harvest requests
• investigate complaints
• prevent misuse and maintain the security of the site
• comply with applicable law
• maintain and improve the operation of the site
• send marketing only where appropriate consent or choice exists

05ORDERS AND PAYMENTS

Where online payment is available, payment credentials may be processed by a third-party payment service provider. ASTROVE does not need to receive or store full payment-card or bank credentials where those credentials are processed directly by the payment provider.

Online checkout is not currently live on this site. When it is, the payment methods and the payment provider in use will be shown at checkout.

When ordering is switched on, ASTROVE uses Shopify as its commerce platform. Your bag, checkout and order are created and processed by Shopify, and payment is handled by Shopify and its payment providers. Card details are entered on Shopify’s checkout and are not received or stored by ASTROVE.

06SERVICE PROVIDERS

Operating a food business means some information must reach the providers who help deliver it. Depending on what you ask us to do, that may include providers for:

• hosting and infrastructure
• logistics and delivery
• payment processing
• email, mailing-list management and communications
• commerce, checkout and order processing
• professional and compliance services

Information is shared only as reasonably necessary for the relevant service or to meet a legal obligation.

07EMAIL AND MARKETING

If you join the First Harvest list, we will use your email address to send launch and product information relating to ASTROVE.

The address you submit is sent to ASTROVE and is then stored and processed on our behalf by an email service provider, which holds the First Harvest mailing list and delivers these messages. We ask it for nothing beyond your email address.

You can withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails, or by writing to support@astrove.in and asking us to remove you.

08COOKIES AND BROWSER STORAGE

The current ASTROVE site does not intentionally use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural advertising trackers.

While ordering is switched off, the site sets no cookies at all, and does not write to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. Items you add to the bag are held in the memory of the page you are on and are lost when you reload or close it.

When ordering is switched on, the site sets one strictly necessary cookie so your bag can be recognised as yours between page loads. It holds a random identifier and nothing else — no name, no email, no browsing history — and it is readable only by our server, not by scripts in your browser. Shopify may also set its own cookies once you reach its checkout.

There is no advertising identifier and no cross-site tracking.

If this changes, this section will be updated before the change goes live.

09RETENTION

We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and for any period we are required to keep it under applicable law — for example, records relating to orders, tax and food-safety obligations.

Where information is no longer needed for any of those purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete it or stop using it.

10SECURITY

We take reasonable steps to protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The site is served over an encrypted connection in production.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

We will respond to requests relating to personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law.

Where applicable, you may contact us at support@astrove.in regarding access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, or a grievance concerning the handling of your personal data.

ASTROVE handles personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including applicable provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules made under it as they come into force.

12CHILDREN

The site is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in a way that requires consent we have not obtained.

If you believe a child has provided us personal data, write to support@astrove.in and we will take appropriate steps.

13CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date shown on it.
