From fresh fruit

≈200–225gFresh fruit

Approximately 200–225g of fresh fruit goes into one 20g pouch. Freeze-drying removes most of the water, leaving 20g of freeze-dried fruit. Exact input varies by fruit, season and batch.

Origin

An indigenous fruit, not a trend.

Syzygium cumini

Jamun belongs here.

Native to the Indian subcontinent, the tree grows across remarkably different Indian landscapes — from humid tropical regions to semi-arid country.

Long familiar in India. Still strangely absent from the modern snack aisle.

How it is made

Most dried fruit meets heat. Ours meets the cold first.

ASTROVE freezes real fruit first, then removes its water under vacuum rather than relying on prolonged hot-air drying.

Storage and shelf life

Keep ASTROVE sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

After opening, reseal the pouch tightly.

Freeze-dried fruit has a porous structure and readily absorbs moisture from humid air. As moisture is absorbed, its characteristic crisp texture can gradually soften.

Use the product label for the definitive storage and shelf-life instructions.
